Second Decan 10º-20º SEPT.3rd-Sept.12th for the month of VIRGO.

Top Row: Unified Esoteric Tarot
Bottom Row: Lumina Tarot (left) Dreams of Gaia (center), and Tarot of the Holy Light (right)

Second Decan 10º-20º Sept.3rd – Sept.12th.
• Saturn in Virgo
• Guided by the “Nine of Pentacles”
• Sixth house of Work and Health.

Mutable Virgo (Aug.23-Sept.22), being ruled by the planet Mercury, has its realm in the practical aspects of the mind. “Order, Decision, Perfectionism, and Responsibility” is of true importance to most Virgos.

I selected three cards from the Unified Esoteric Tarot which represent these traits. The Page of Disks (left) is seen as the court card for the month of Virgo and is ruled by Neptune. The last time Neptune was in Virgo was July 1943, so the characteristics of this placement is generational. Neptune in Virgo poses a personal responsibility in the realm of reason and emotions; which if not balanced can cause distress and a poor sense of judgement.

The Tree of Life (right) has Virgo placed at home with Mercury in the seventh Sephiroth of Netzach. Its tarot archetype is of the Lovers and shows its journey through victory of the mind with communication and decisions. This represents the lower aspect of the Self where thoughts and feelings become one.

With Saturn in Virgo, we see the the planetary influence of structure and discipline enhancing the Perfectionism that many Virgos strive after. It’s a time of refining any details that can strengthen their productivity.

The “Nine of Pentacles” shows the successful efforts of ones hard work. Well thought out decisions, perfecting every detail, and taking responsibility of the ups and downs has led to an outcome of abundance which can now be shared generously with others.

Please note! The assigned astrological decan on the featured tarot cards does not correspond with the current astrological sign and planet placement. The “Unified Esoteric Tarot” and the “Tarot of the Holy Light” have their own astrological correspondences that are used as guides within each card when doing a reading.
In addition, the Golden Dawn has its own system of astrological correspondences that I will make specific reference too when doing tarot astrology readings. These correspondences are found primarily in the Thoth Tarot and other similar inspired traditional decks.
