This Thursday morning, the New Moon in Virgo was at its peak at 4am (PDT)/ 7am (EDT). The moon will be ‘Void of Course” until it arrives in Libra at 11:56am (PDT) / 2:56pm (EDT).
During this New Moon transition of Virgo into Libra, we see the Virgo energy of “ECONOMY” and a time of being practical and working within our financial and also our spiritual means by not overextending ones ‘Self.
The arrival of the New Moon in Libra is a time of “REVISION”. Focus on any changes to ideas or concepts that you may be considering to bring into fruition. It could be a challenging time for making long term decisions. Wait until the moon has moved into its waxing phase to consider the timing of your decision.

To gain insight between the Virgo/Libra New Moon transition, I drew the “Eight of Swords”. This card shows Gemini in Saturn. A reminder to not buckle during any struggles that may be occurring. This is a test of the personal will and mind to overcome making any bad choices. Rationalize the heart and mind and don’t fight against these challenges. At this time, use the new moon energy as a guide of “non-action” alongside the Eight of Swords disciplinary influence. The time of releasing stagnant perspectives is around the corner; that is if you are ready to let go.
This moon’s energy becomes exemplified when positioned in your birth Moon sign. If your sun sign is placed in a moon’s astrological position you will feel the results of this energy but not as much to the degree when placed in your moon sign.⠀
The “New Moon” represents a time of releasing old energies and creating new beginnings. In addition, you may be (unknowingly) the “influencer” of those around you.
