Cardinal Libra (Sept.22nd-October 22nd), ruled by Venus, welcomes in the first day of Autumn at 6:31am (PDT). The Autumn season holds particular influence for the signs of Libra, Scorpio, and Sagittarius which rules this time of the year until the Winter Solstice of Dec.22nd. The “Page of Swords” reminds us about the waning sun’s energy and to be mindful and rational in our efforts during this season. â
The first decan of Sept. 23rd-Oct.2nd is held by Venus in Libra with guidance from the “Two of Swords”. This is a time to resolve any (inter) personal conflicts between the heart and the mind. Any partnerships that may be challenged at this time, whether business, personal, or spiritual, will benefit from this loving union of Venusian Libra energy by showing more compassion in your thoughts and expressing how you really feel. â
As we enter this season of introspection, consider what is needed to create more balance in your partnership; is it more of an emotional connection, better communication, or a time to let go of the past? â
The major arcana card of influence for Libra of UET’s “Temperance” and the TOTHL’s “Hanged Man” share similar aspects of merging conflicting ideals and emotions for establishing harmony within. A shift in perspective is needed to understand this. The “Hanged Man” welcomes a release of the past by reversing the conscious/subconscious view to better see what was not previously seen. â
Please note! The assigned astrological decan on the featured tarot cards does not correspond with the current astrological sign and planet placement. The “Unified Esoteric Tarot” and the “Tarot of the Holy Light” have their own astrological correspondences that are used as guides within each card when doing a reading.
In addition, the Golden Dawn has its own system of astrological correspondences that I will make specific reference too when doing tarot astrology readings. These correspondences are found primarily in the Thoth Tarot and other similar inspired traditional decks.
