Happy Birthday, Scorpio! 🎂 ✨ ♏️

First Decan 0º-10º Oct.23rd – Nov.2nd
• Pluto in Scorpio
• Eighth House of Transformation
• Guided by the “Five of Cups“

Fixed Scorpio (Oct.22- Nov.20th), being ruled by the planets Pluto and Mars, holds its position in the realm of intense emotions, transformation, and intuition. Mars ignites the fiery persona in Scorpio while Pluto destroys and regenerates in the Eight House of Transformation.
Here is where intense situations are handled such as sex, death, and loss, and how you recover from its aftermath. Scorpios can have an inherent means of emotionally breaking down a situation and (at times unknowingly) directing it against either themselves or those involved; it’s their way of “destroying and transforming” spiritually, mentally, and emotionally.

During this first decan with Pluto in Scorpio, the “Unified Esoteric Tarot” indicates this is a time of “Pleasure”. During this decan, the Scorpio influence is seeking the freedom to explore areas that have yet to be experienced and to find truth and knowledge in what is being explored; this includes spirituality and the inner Self.

I decided to share a comparison card from the Moon Oracle of the “Sword” moon mansion 25.43 Libra to 8.34 Scorpio with its planetary influence of Mercury and Pluto. This is basically the first decan as Libra leaves its sun sign for Scorpio. The “Sword” is using the mercurial influence of the mind to find truth in a situation and possibly seek revenge for any injustice that had been done. Pluto’s influence of “seek and destroy” is part of this double edged sword.

The “Five of Cups“ is about a personal loss and the feelings attached to this experience. There is a time to grieve and a time to heal. Use this card as a guide that it is time to let go and experience what awaits for you. There will be some things that you won’t be able to change. Make peace with this and rediscover the pleasurable aspects of life and the knowledge you have gained from this.
This is Transformation at its best!

Please note! The assigned astrological decan on the featured tarot cards does not correspond with the current astrological sign and planet placement. The “Unified Esoteric Tarot” and the “Tarot of the Holy Light” have their own astrological correspondences that are used as guides within each card when doing a reading.
In addition, the Golden Dawn has its own system of astrological correspondences that I will make specific reference too when doing tarot astrology readings. These correspondences are found primarily in the Thoth Tarot and other similar inspired traditional decks.
