Second Decan 10º-20º Jan.30th-Feb.8th 2021
• Mercury in Aquarius
• Eleventh House of Ideals and Friendship
• Guided by the “Six of Swords“
During this second decan with Mercury in Aquarius, the “Unified Esoteric Tarot” indicates a time of “Departure”.
In this decan, the planetary influence of “Mercury in Aquarius” is of spontaneous ideas and thoughts. At times, erratic and directionless, but that wild-eyed energy that is seen in the eyes of Mercury Aquarius is one that has to move freely. There is a need to transcend into another realm and to leave old ways of thinking behind.
The key word of “Departure” is using the intellect in a broader sense to release the past and to explore what is beyond the horizon.
The “Six of Swords“ is about letting go and moving on from a difficult conflict or a challenging transitory time.
The mind, body, and soul has been exhausted and there’s a need to regain a new perspective away from what you have experienced.
This is a card of intellectual self reflection. Listen to your thoughts and to how your heart resonates to them.
The “Lumina Tarot” has the “Six of Swords” as a momentary halt in the realm of the mind. Taking a moment to literally stop, think, and release what has challenged you and is causing difficulties in understanding the current situation. A lack of mindful action has occurred and a reassessment of the inner self is being called out. Know by checking in with your ‘Self you are allowing the space to forgive and to move on to a clearer perspective.
The “Tarot of the Holy Light” names this card as “The Navigator”.
Using the guidance of the stars, constellations, and the direction of the ocean and wind currents, we, as the Navigator, self guide the many directions in our lives. The key here is determining when is the best time to move and at what pace. The vessel is our complete inner and outer body. We have to listen to the shifts that our occurring and when to use our inner currents to move ahead.
This “Six of Swords” uses the influence of Saturn in Aquarius (upright) and Capricorn (reversed) to contain these opposing energies. One of practicality and the other of idealistic actions.
Use the Six of Swords as self-guidance and self-trust when releasing a personal conflict. The mind and body has been exhausted, but know by mindfully bringing attention to the inner shifts that are taking place you can move on to a more stable environment. Trust in the guidance that you are following and that you will be in a better place. Take the time needed to achieve this awareness.
✶Please note! The assigned astrological decan on the featured tarot cards does not correspond with the current astrological sign and planet placement. The “Unified Esoteric Tarot” has its own astrological correspondences that are used as guides within each card when doing a reading.
In addition, the Golden Dawn has its own system of astrological correspondences that I will make specific reference too when doing tarot astrology readings. These correspondences are found primarily in the Thoth Tarot and other similar inspired traditional decks.
