Ostara Spring Equinox “Wheel of the Year” Reading March 20, 2021

My focus for this meditative reading was on the energies for the upcoming Spring months of April (Aries) early spring, May (Taurus) mid spring, and June (Gemini) late spring. I chose the decks of the “Witches Wisdom” by Phyllis Curott and the “Witches Oracle” by Sally Morningstar as counsel guides to usher in Ostara and the Spring Equinox energies.
I used the Witches Oracle as the key action for each month and the Witches Wisdom as the overall energy of that month.

For the month of Aries/April, the key action is “self initiation”. There is a desire for motion coming from within. This involves calling ourselves to being honest with how we feel, think, and take action toward our endeavors. What energies need to be aligned to activate the right amount and kind of force to reach our desires?

The 3 of Water and 5 of Air show two different scenes. One of stillness and one of strife. We are facing opposing energies when it comes to calm emotional support versus the survivalist mind when faced with adversity. Both cards show the endurance and patience of perseverance. Self belief and motivation will be of the essence for the month of April.

For the month of Taurus/May, our mid Spring journey has us utilizing our inner (elemental) forces in a more mindful manner. “The Cloak” wants us to be resourceful and protective in the manner that we invest these energies into our goals. It is best not to reveal all of this at once and not to expend ourselves. Doing so, will hinder ones progress.

The 6 of Water and 5 of Water show our emotional relationship to resources that feed us mind, body, and soul. How much awareness is being invested into our own personal sustenance? Once again we see opposing environments where one polar landscape is becoming barren and the other is filled with opportunities of abundance. “Emotional awareness” will be the influence for the month of May.

For the month of Gemini/June, the tail end of Spring has us experiencing the end result of our seasonal journey. “The Bat” guides us out of our deep subconscious Self to a new awakened Self. There has been a heighten spiritual experience that has shifted ones overall perspective.

The 10 of Water shows a lush environment where mysteries may still be lurking. There is a sense of protection, yet a feeling of wholeness that is being experienced. “Strength” shows how *self belief* has manifested into *self empowerment*. Through perseverance and spiritual connection we have learn to merge our heart and mind to reveal our authentic Self.
