Litha Summer Solstice Wheel of the Year Reading June 20, 2021

My focus for this meditative reading is on the energies for the upcoming months of July (Cancer) early summer, August (Leo) mid summer, and September (Virgo) late summer. I chose the decks of the “Witches Wisdom” by Phyllis Curott and the “Witches Oracle” by Sally Morningstar as counsel guides to usher in Litha and the Summer Solstice energies.
I called upon the “Witches Oracle” as the key action for each month and the “Witches Wisdom” as the overall energy of that month.

For the month of Cancer/July, the key action is “Evocation”. The Pentacle becomes the tool for centering the Self and attuning to the elemental energies that we are embodied with. Use the Pentacle as a means of protection and guidance to knowledge.

The Witch of Earth shows the strength of will and determination. This wise soul is your guide to be fearless and empathetic through all aspects of your own journey. It is a time for being committed and being of service when called upon.
The Wheel of Life is understanding and attuning with the cycles of life, death, and rebirth. Be mindful on how the seasonal shifts affect who we are and the changes that we experience during these transitions. Align with the current season and learn from its energies toward Self empowerment.
Inner knowledge, strength of self-will, and attuning to the energies of the season will be of the essence for the month of July.

For the month of Leo/August, our mid Summer journey has us connecting to our inner light for “Protection”. The “Holey Stone” is a reminder of the energies that we are surrounded by and to maintain boundaries for self preservation. Cleansing and recharging our spiritual energies will assist in keeping negative forces at a distance.

The Two of Water and the Moon show how we connect with others through self love and face inner fears through self reflection. The Two of Water is the merging of two souls through the expression of joy and compassion to others who are reciprocating the same feelings. It is the meeting of two like hearted souls coming together as one. The Moon illuminates our deepest instincts. It is a time to assess our own fears and to have the trust in our inner light to reveal and release what is binding us from self liberation. Self preservation, the release of inner fears, and having a compassionate heart will be the influence for the month of August.

For the month of Virgo/September, the end of Summer has us experiencing the culminative result of our seasonal journey. The Italian Wiccan goddess, Aradia is our guide to reaching the highest form of our true Self. You have gained greater insight into your journey and being summoned to call upon the support needed to attain this seraphic awakening.

The Two of Air is about self trust and placing your Self in uncharted territory with no expectation and allowing your soul to welcome what may come. The exhaled breath is one of release and experiencing that moment of the unknown.
The Nine of Air indicates a time to move on from out grown values and perspectives to make space for something new. You are feeling an inner calling of a great shift; if heeded this will create a renewed awareness of what you are being driven toward.
Calling the powers within/without for a higher awakening, having self trust, embracing a change for the better.
