“Sensitivity and Self Acceptance”
• Third Decan 20°-30° July 13th-July 22nd
• Neptune in Cancer
• Fourth House of Home + Relationships
• Guided by the “Four of Cups“
In this third decan with “Neptune in Cancer”, the “Unified Esoteric Tarot” indicates a time of “Sensitivity”. Neptune is a *divinatory planet* that corresponds to the realm of the intuitive, spiritual knowledge, and cosmic unity. When Cancer is placed in Neptune, Cancer’s emotions are heightened and there is a greater empathy toward those close to them, ie family, friends, etc.
The “Four of Cups“ is a disillusionment of a situation. Something has shifted within your Self where a sense of emotional unclarity is obscuring your actions to move ahead. The four cups in this card represent the experience once had but no longer of interest, and the guidance that is available for you to accept . This is a time to acknowledge a message that can provide an invaluable awakening in your immediate environment.
The “Dreamkeepers Tarot” describes the Four of Cups as the withering away of the physical conscious realm and finding solace within the confine of the subconscious. There has been an experience of sorrow and pain in this card. It has a numbing affect which is causing a paralyzing standstill in the current situation. The reminder that you are not alone and that healing support is available (Three of Cups). Be open to what is being gifted to you. This could lead to a new perspective in ones current situation.
The “Witches Wisdom Tarot” depicts the Four of Water through the healing energies of whales. One of the more spiritual-centric animal spirits out there for us to experience. The whale is emotionally expressive through joy and sorrow and this is wide felt amongst their community. By knowing their emotions ARE being acknowledged, the whale has the means of support through their connection to those closest to them. This instills the trust from others so the can reconnect to the love in their hearts to share with others.
The “Dreams of Gaia” shows the honest acceptance of the scars that we are bearing from past experiences that were made in poor judgement. The Four of Water is about embracing our weakness and finding the guidance and strength from them. This is about releasing any means of perfecting a situation. Accept it for what it is, good or bad. Know that this is where you are meant to be at this moment and be emotionally aware of any actions that you take from that point onward.
The “Tarot of the Holy Light” shows the Four of Cups in the realm of emotional disengagement while in the midst of a turbulent sea. The cups shown are drifting aimlessly with no connection to bring them together. A lack of interest and responsibility to take heed of the situation can become more dire if no direct action is taken. This card is a reminder of using our own *vital willpower* (Sun) and *emotional intelligence* (Water) to redirect the focus of the Four of Cups to what truly motivates the heart and soul. A positive change in the environment will shift the perspective to one of clarity and stability.
Use the “Four of Cups“ as guidance to remain receptive to healing and opportunities of change when a situation has become either too painful or unclear. Accept what has happened and not to correct the past. Let it go!
This is a time to consider what actions are needed to move away from an experience that has held you back and no longer serves you. Reach out to that mysterious fourth cup! It just might reveal the panacea that is needed.
Please note! The assigned astrological decan on the featured tarot cards does not correspond with the current astrological sign and planet placement. The “Unified Esoteric Tarot” has its own astrological correspondences that are used as guides within each card when doing a reading. In addition, the Golden Dawn has its own system of astrological correspondences that I will make specific reference too when doing tarot astrology readings. These correspondences are found primarily in the Thoth Tarot and other similar inspired traditional decks.
