Mabon + Autumn Equinox WHEEL OF THE YEAR READING September 22, 2021

The focus for this meditative reading is on the energies for the upcoming months of October (Libra) early Autumn, November (Scorpio) mid Autumn season, and December (Sagittarius) late Autumn. I chose the decks of the “Witches Wisdom” by Phyllis Curott and the “Witches Oracle” by Sally Morningstar as counsel guides to usher in Mabon and the Autumn energies.
I called upon the “Witches Oracle” as the key action for each month and the “Witches Wisdom” as the overall guidance of that month.

For the month of October/Libra, the key action is Spiritual Integrity (Wizard). The spiritual energy of the Wizard is a reminder of how to best utilize an opportunity of authority in the better interest of those involved. Use this influence in a manner that is befitting of self respect and to those around you. The guidance of the Wizard is coming from a place of accessing one’s own spiritual (pure) truth, and not as a means to over control or over power a situation.

The Ace of Water is our current personal connection to past emotions and understanding our instincts.
This is a time to fully experience the many facets of our feelings (body, mind, and spirit). Any issue that may manifest, it is best to embrace and express what may be shifting. Naturally respond and allow these emotions to move through the regenerative forces of water so that healing can take place and ones instinct can be deepened further.

The “Nine of Water” is about facing challenges, taking that “leap of faith”, and entering an ominous scenario with no expectations. Chances are to be taken. It is encouraged to tackle the swim upstream and to stay determined when going against the impossible for ones own personal survival. The Salmon represents “wisdom and magic”. Its journey is a cyclical process as once the Salmon has reached its destination and dies, the journey continues through the transformation of the soul into a new (life) experience. A similar means to the regenerative process of the Self.
Spiritual integrity, emotional and intuitive self -expression, and taking a chance in a challenging situation will be the focus for the month of October.

For the month of November/Scorpio, our mid Autumn journey has us paying attention to our karmic actions and learning from those experiences.
“Nemesis” is about taking responsibility for the choices that have been made and to make amends for negative actions that may have done harm to others as well as to ones Self. A time to listen and to acknowledge any negative actions so as to cleanse the soul and to return to a integrated place of kindness (heart) and wisdom (mind).

The “Goddess of Air” and the “Ten of Earth” show the inner connection that we have with others through the journey (web) of life. The Goddess of Air shows the multi-faceted ways that we can remain fully present within our relationships while also removing ties that no longer serves us. Ask “how is your relationship with others being of inspiration for you? What needs to be released, mended, or sustained at this time? Know that what is severed can be replaced to make a new connection for the future.

The “Ten of Earth” reveals the the interconnection of the weaving web in ones life. This represents the supportive energy that has been there to guide us in making the right choices and taking the right actions to provide a stable path based on inner harmony and grace. This card is the moment of gratitude in what has been created and accomplished.
Amending karmic action, releasing unnecessary ties and creating new connections within relationships, and the interconnection of the Self through harmony of the body, mind, and soul  will be the focus for the month of November.

For the month of December/Sagittarius, the end of Autumn has us experiencing the culminating result of our seasonal journey. The “Familiar” represent our allies and those who are close to us.  A time to be mindful of those who have shown their support and when we have given back to those in need. 

The “Eight of Earth” is about connecting with the true spirit of nature and discovering where you are in alignment with the Divine. Our everyday environment can place us in the position of self assessment. Grounding in nature is the purest form of physical and spiritual alignment. Know that you have the greatest forces of protection and guidance when connecting to the natural realm of the “spirit of place”.

The “Council of All Beings” reveals all the natural forces of the earth, air, fire, and water coming together and merging as one through “spirit and earth”. There is a gathering of community to manifest the power of love and healing outward into the future. Look for signs and like minded connections as these are guides to what may lie ahead. 
Support through our allies, connecting with the divine Self in nature, and the power of community to create love and healing will be the focus for the month of December.
