OSTARA SPRING EQUINOX “WHEEL OF THE YEAR” READING MARCH 20, 2022

My focus for this meditative reading was on the energies for the upcoming Spring months of April (Aries) early spring, May (Taurus) mid spring, and June (Gemini) late spring. I chose the decks of the “Witches Wisdom” by Phyllis Curott and the “Witches Oracle” by Sally Morningstar as counsel guides to usher in Ostara and the Spring Equinox energies.
I used the Witches Oracle as the key action for each month and the Witches Wisdom as the overall energy of that month.

For the month of Aries/April, the key action is “personal knowledge + revelation”. The “Book of Knowledge” holds our deepest secrets and life experiences of which we can reflect upon and to gain insight. For the month of April, there is an increasing (steady) movement of starting anew. A time of applying your gained knowledge into desired endeavors. This card is like the external version of “The Hermit”. Now is the moment to reveal what has expanded within your consciousness.

The “3 of Earth” and “Ace of Earth” show the importance of what one values in their desires. The “3 of Earth” is about building a support group There is an attraction to build a true connection with others, especially those from a different generation. This kind of relationship strengthens opposing energies to work together and to form a strong bond.

“Ace of Earth” wants us to focus on the nurturing and preservation of what one is being called to create. It is taking the appropriate steps in manifesting a healthy outcome. Consider what are the resources needed to begin this endeavor and in what manner will you work towards accomplishing this?

Revealing inner knowledge, creating supportive connections with others, and focussing on manifesting success toward personal goals will be of essence for the month of April.

For the month of Taurus/May, our mid Spring journey has us utilizing our inherent skills of power for personal change. “Aradia” represents
how the empowered Self (wisely) uses their well developed (inner) powers to connect with the natural forces of the universe. This energy moves from Nature and showing respect in its elemental forces. It is a time to reconnect with nature to recharge ones own sense of Self.

The “Witch of Fire” and “6 of Fire” shows in the manner how one harnesses and direct this natural force into our desires. The “Witch of Fire” is the flame of inspiration. We seek guidance towards this feminine force when seeking inspiration, but unclear on how to manifest it. This involves asking “What do you truly desire in life”? The challenge may come when facing the fears of attaining these desired goals. Releasing these blocks and placing trust in your actions will allow the flames to grow in your direction.

The “6 of Fire” shows the light of inspiration in action. You have manifested this bright energy from within your Self and externally toward your desires. You have embraced your own values and self belief to keep this fiery light aflame. Know that things are moving right where they need to be and allow this flame and its space to move naturally. Relinquish control over this movement. Not doing so will weaken its driving force.

Attaining ones highest potential and creatively manifesting (desired) change will be the guided energies for the month of May.

For the month of Gemini/June, the tail end of Spring has us experiencing the end result of our seasonal journey.
The “Holey Stone” (also known as the “Hag Stone”) represents creating a protective boundary around ones Self and to that of personal value. This can come in the form of loved ones, health, business, etc. By calling in protective forces, this will give the space and clarity needed to move, without obstacles, towards successfully achieving one’s goals. Be mindful of the energies that surround you and keep a shield of protection around your investments.

The “Goddess of Water” shows a spiritual womb of intuitive emotions and the forming of inherent wisdom. This message is about listening to what is being created within the primordial Self. A new emotional awakening is being manifested as it can be sensed. Be prepared for what is going to be experienced and to embrace this release.

“9 of Water” (Rx) indicates a fear or challenge towards reaching a desired goal. You may be experiencing a fast moving current of emotions that is creating the impossibility in fulfilling your heart’s desire. Understanding the circumstances of your environment and discover that inner drive in circumnavigating through forces that you may come against. It is regaining the trust of the heart and the will of the spirit that can strengthen ones Self to go against challenging currents in completing the cycle of life, death, and rebirth. This is how we learn the lessons that life has to offer.

Creating protective boundaries, manifestation of emotional wisdom, and manifesting the intuitive heart and spiritual will to strengthen the soul through fear and challenges are key actions for the month of June.
