“MATURITY AND ATTAINMENT” LITHA SUMMER SOLSTICE READING JUNE 21, 2022

My focus for this meditative reading was on the energies for the coming Summer months of July (Cancer) peak of summer, August (Leo) mid summer, and September (Virgo) late summer. For this reading, the decks I chose are the “Vision Quest Tarot” by Gayan Sylvie Winter / Jo Dosé and the “Witches Oracle” by Sally Morningstar as counsel guides to usher in Litha and the Summer Solstice energies.
I used the Witches Oracle as the key action for each month and the Vision Quest Tarot as the overall energy of that month.

For the month of July/Cancer, the key action is of “self embodiment and wholeness”. “The Lady” (High Priestess) represents how we are personally empowered through our internal and external surroundings. There is a calling to fulfill our deepest desires and it is time to harness the forces that the Self has manifesting these desires into a reality. Manifest the spiritual energy of the Lady/High Priestess to guide you toward the greater embodiment of the inner Self. The changes within then reveals itself into the conscious environment.

The “2 of Earth” and “Balance or Temperance” combined show the end result of the cyclic exchange of external and internal influences. The awakening the Self releases old patterns that no longer serve you. Growth and Maturity comes from releasing of old ways and creating an open space to nurture a new experience. “2 of Earth” represents the awareness of the ever shifting energy which transforms the Self, within and without.

“Balance” shows the awakened Self in a place of stillness. This journey of transformation comes from releasing any personal attachment(s) or activities so that the mind, body, and soul can attune to what is taking place within. This moment of peace within your Self will reveal what is of great importance in creating a balanced sense of the Self.. the Embodied Soul.

Revealing our desires, growth and maturity, and the release of personal attachments and transformation for creating stillness will be of essence for the month of July.

For the month of August/Leo, our mid Summer journey has us shifting our (sub)conscious perception in a new way.“The Bat” represents the guiding force to our deeper (sub)conscious Self. Our intuition is receiving a signal to heed the calling of change that will transform our sense of perception. The intuitive Self is to be receptive to what awaits ahead.

The “2 of Air” and “Son of Air” are both guiding the Self to face one’s own struggle about a situation once and for all through inner stillness. The mind has been constantly fighting with its own suffering and not resolving issues for solitude. It is time to liberate the mind so it can freely release any mental constraints. The “2 of Air” is the resolve to a dilemma that may be occurring at this time. Disconnect from the mind through breathing and relaxing the muscles of the body. This can create a space of solitude so that the healing begins from within.

The “Son of Air” shows the driving force to swiftly take action with challenges. There will be times in ones life where there may be no choice but to handle matters directly. Personal struggles begin to overwhelm causing the realization that it leads to no solution. Release the ego of fighting these issues head on. When a scenario is challenging, create the space of solitude and healing within to become centered and to seek clarity in the matter. This journey is part of the •spiritual maturity stage• where inner shifts begin reflecting out into the conscious realm with a new (clear) perspective.

Creating a new (awakened) perspective, connecting to the higher intuitive Self, releasing the ego mind of (self imposed) mental conflicts will be the focus for the month of August.

For the month of September/Virgo, the end of Summer has us experiencing the culminating result of our seasonal journey.
“The Raven” is the messenger of hidden secrets and esoteric knowledge. This is recognized through the guidance of the enlightened Self (The Bat) and the attainment of spiritual wholeness and empowerment (The Lady). It is through these personal experiences that the Self begins to see and understand the hidden mysteries of the spiritual realm.

The “Father of Air” represents the mastery of the mind. Where you are at this moment you have achieved the mental acuity and rational intellect to make the “right decision” in all matters. The personal maturity of the Self has given you the confidence and insight needed to understand the root of an issue. The mind now has the compassion of the heart.

“The Star” indicates the sharing of a healing life force with others. You have been reborn in such a way that your experience of the divine Self is freely flowing out to those who are willing to receive. This is the awakened soul at its fullest. Filled with graciousness and unconditional sharing from the heart.

Connecting with esoteric knowledge, achieving mental clarity, and the sharing of healing energy are key actions for the month of September.
