MABON AUTUMN EQUINOX “WHEEL OF THE YEAR” READING SEPT. 22, 2022

My focus for this meditative reading is on the energies for the upcoming Autumn months of October (Libra) early Autumn, November (Scorpio) mid Autumn, and December (Sagittarius) late Autumn. I chose the decks of the “Witches Wisdom” by Phyllis Curott and the “Witches Oracle” by Sally Morningstar as counsel guides to usher in Mabon and the Autumn Equinox energies.
I used the Witches Oracle as the key action for each month and the Witches Wisdom as the overall energy of that month.

For the month of Libra/October, the key action is “embracing new growth”. “The Cord” is the inner life force that is directing the Soul to higher level of awareness. Thus far, you have navigated through various experiences that have guided you to a particular turning point in your life. This is where one’s willpower becomes the focus when reaching a crossroads.

“The Sun” and “8 of Water” encourage taking on this this growth with courage and discover the intuitive calling of your heart’s desires.

“The Sun“ reveals the external Self in its purest transformative state. You have journeyed through the (light and dark) vastness of the inner Self and have transformed into a reborn Soul. You are (wholeheartedly) ready to share your joyous experience with others.

“8 of Water“ wants us to feel and answer the calling of the intuitive Self. The alluring energy of the ocean and the Moon is powerful. A reminder of how to move slowly as ones inner energy ebbs and flows. Connect with these shifts and trust that the wave of change will lead to personal fulfillment. One has to be open to the revealing of themselves to welcome in the growth that is desired.

Inner growth, self revelation, and connecting to the higher Self will be of essence for the month of October.

For the month of Scorpio/November, our mid Autumn journey is experiencing the culmination of “Spiritual Maturity”. The cycle of experiences from a situation has come full circle and it is a time to let go and to embrace what is next to come.

“The Crone” represents the energy of growth reaching its fullest maturity. The wisdom of the Crone is one to acknowledge the end of a life cycle to make way for a new energy but at a greater level of knowledge.

The “4 of Fire” and “4 of Water” both show different scenarios of creating a stable foundation of “harmony and security” through a trusted support system. There is an interconnectedness to those closest to you where the comfort, security and love have merged as one.

The “4 of Fire” is the fiery Soul who provides the needed comfort and security to those who are closest to our heart. This is nurturing energy at its brightest! It is one who is giving from a warm heart and maintaining this spiritual light to share with others and potentially inspiring those to embrace this beautiful life force.

The “4 of Water” shows the intuitive connection of support through community. Through love, sorrow, and grief we “interconnect” with those who can empathize with others feelings. This brings an understanding of the joy and sorrow that comes through life’s experiences. Surround your Self with those who can be there for support and for you to give back in return.

Compassion, creating harmony and security, and to connect with a supportive circle of individuals will be the key actions for the month of November.

For the month of Sagittarius/December, the tail end of Autumn has us experiencing the end result of our seasonal journey.
“Aradia” is our guide to reaching the highest form of our true Self. You have gained greater insight into your journey and being summoned to call upon the support needed to attain this seraphic awakening of inherent wisdom. This message is about listening to what is being created within the primordial Self. A new emotional awakening is being manifested as it can be sensed. Be prepared for what is going to be experienced and to embrace this release.

“4 of Air” and “Goddess of Air” both fall in the realm of “Perspective“. A time to view life from a different perspective by creating a change of environment and assessing influences from the past and present. By making the needed changes, will reflect on what is ahead in the future. What points of view are no longer needed and needs to be changed?

“4 of Air” is giving yourself a respite from the mundane activities of life. Find a place of refuge where you can be alone to rest and to reflect upon the importance of certain matters in your life. Release any strife that has been exhaustive so that you can move ahead with a clearer and more expansive perspective.

“Goddess of Air” is the healing weaver of ties that are in need to be mended or released. Time is of the essence and the healing needs to start quickly. The connection to those around us is infinite. One tie leads to another, and so on. The message of this healing weaver is realizing the importance of the connections that one has. Knowing “when and how” to cut the ties that no longer serve us and to heal these ties to create healthier ones for the future.

Maintaining integrity, rest and reflection for a clearer perspective, producing health connections with others are key actions for the month of December.
