Second Decan 10º-20º May 1st- 10th

• Ceres in Taurus

• Second House of Wealth and Possessions

• Guided by the “Six of Pentacles”

During this second decan, the “Unified Esoteric Tarot” places “Ceres in Taurus” indicating a time of “Prosperity and Gratitude” for what we value the most. In this decan, Ceres’ influence on Taurus is about the care and well being of those around them. Ceres represents how we utilize our nurturing and compassionate side with others. This individual “self worth” is one that is naturally shared to those who are in need. This may come in the form of providing a helping hand, emotional and mental support, and inspiration. All of which are guided by ones elemental characteristics within their signs; ie water, air, fire, and earth.

The “Six of Pentacles“ is about being generous with ones own “personal wealth” and selflessly giving to those who can benefit and grow from your kindness. This can be the result of moving through challenging times and making choices that led you to a place of being grateful and filled with abundance. It can also indicate taking responsibility to those closest to us.

The “Forest of Enchantment“ and “Oak Ash and Thorn” share an interesting landscape to the “Six of Pentacles”. Here we are seeing different scenarios to how abundance and nurturing are being received. Once scene shows how a community of rabbits are coming to the aid and comfort of an individual in distress. This can represent the unexpected support from outside sources. Oak Ash and Thorn shows a hare, representing a multitude of abundance, humbly giving its own wealth to those who are open to receiving.

The “Lumina Tarot” shows how personal commitment, self trust, and hard work can create a harmony of abundance and success within ones Self. In turn (by giving and receiving), you are self-empowering those who are receptive to what is being given when the opportunities arise. It is this reciprocal action that when coming from a place of compassion can inspire growth and personal success.

The “Tarot of the Holy Light”  takes the perspective of what is naturally occurring versus what has been refined through the shape and form of geometric patterns representing the material realm. By being objective to what is naturally taking shape one can see the growing beauty and the potential of what could yet to come. Here we are seeing how one values their own self worth and, by compassionately sharing this with others, can increase the personal growth and success for those who are the contributors and receivers.

Use the guidance of the “Six of Pentacles“ as having gratitude and self value in what you have worked hard for and what has been (personally) gained through self reflection from the past. Give back to those who have shown their support for you, and not to fear asking for guidance that can inspire one to grow and achieve what is in their best interest.

Please note! The assigned astrological decan on the featured tarot cards does not correspond with the current astrological sign and planet placement. The “Unified Esoteric Tarot” has its own astrological correspondences that are used as guides within each card when doing a reading. In addition, the Golden Dawn has its own system of astrological correspondences that I will make specific reference too when doing tarot astrology readings. These correspondences are found primarily in the Thoth Tarot and other similar inspired traditional decks.
