Patience + Rest: Third Decan 20º-30º May 11th- 21st
• Saturn in Taurus
• Second House of Wealth and Possessions
• Guided by the “Seven of Pentacles”
In this third decan with “Saturn in Taurus”, the “Unified Esoteric Tarot” indicates a time of “Patience”. Saturn’s role within this particular decan is about the limits of time being reflected upon. Saturn and Taurus are grounded earth influenced energies. Bringing awareness to the moment when our efforts have become a burden. This is where the question of “space and time” come into play. Do you abandon your efforts now or take a momentary pause?
The “Seven of Pentacles“ is about taking time to reflect on what has been accomplished thus far.
There may be some hesitation at this juncture and a sense of the “Self” wearing down due to fatigue; whether physical/emotional/spiritual. The Seven of Pentacles asks how do we utilize this moment of slowing down? The focus is one that is temporary to allow the mind, body, and soul to take a respite and to revitalize the inner/outer Self and inspire to continue onward.
The “Oak Ash and Thorn” and “Dreams of Gaia” both show their connection to nature when it comes to the Seven of Pentacles/Earth. The scenes are of rest and remaining grounded to nature. The Hare shows a restful moment from creating abundance; inspired and protected by its efforts (pentacles).
The “Dreams of Gaia” shows the most earthly connection to nature from this deck. Meditation and tranquility is the highlight for the Self to fully interconnect with the four elements of nature. This provides the insight of any needed issues to be resolved. This also encompasses the power of the body as the “Tree of Life”.
The “Lumina Tarot” shows the Seven of Pentacles emphasizing the “quality of ones life” when in pursuit of their goal(s). You may want to reconsider your time and energy that has been invested thus far and see if any shifts need to be made in your direction and aspiration towards the finality of your goal(s).
The “Tarot of the Holy Light” has the “Seven of Disks” showing the discipline of “cultivation” toward our desires. Working with the power of nature, the tree (desired goal) embodies the body and soul of the Self. The desired goal is the key intent and you will do what is needed to accomplish this. There is no need to look for shortcuts or work arounds toward your desires. You are WILLING to do the work in its entirety and work with the changing aspects of nature’s energies. This card is asking how you will “self-sacrifice” in the name of accomplishing your desires.
Use the “Seven of Pentacles“ to allow the time needed to rest, rejuvenate, and redirect any ideas that you have in accomplishing your desires. Do not force yourself within a time frame that can not be completed. Invest the right amount of energy that is needed to fulfill your goal. Time will always be there, but don’t be idle with it, either.
✶Please note! The assigned astrological decan on the featured tarot cards does not correspond with the current astrological sign and planet placement. The “Unified Esoteric Tarot” has its own astrological correspondences that are used as guides within each card when doing a reading. In addition, the Golden Dawn has its own system of astrological correspondences that I will make specific reference too when doing tarot astrology readings. These correspondences are found primarily in the Thoth Tarot and other similar inspired traditional decks.
