Tabula Mundi Tarot: Leo Decan (5-7 Disks) + “Lust” May 25th 2025

“Lust” (LEO) – Here is the lunar goddess as the conduit and spark of her own primal (Kundalini) forces that is further empowered through the relationship with the solar god’s vitality. I agree with Meleen’s reference to this “Lust” archetype as the “Solar Trinity of the “Spirit, Intellectual Sun/Soul, and the Material Sun/Body”. I feel these are the important aspect within this archetype as this is where the true essence of its life force manifests from. There is a stillness, and yet a powerful transformative motion that is occurring at the same time. Similar to the energy in the background of the dormant dark volcano and above it the golden conjunction of the sun and moon. Another fascinating aspect to this card is the golden grail that is seen in the Chariot (Cancer/Moon ruled) card has been placed into the hand of Lust and is beaming with a great spiritual essence that this goddess proudly raises to show us. The beauty and harmonic sphere of Tiphareth is fully engaging this goddess’s primal energy.

“Five of Wands” (Saturn) – The conflict between fire and earth energies are mounting and causing great tension. Saturn (earth) is restrictive and disciplined by nature; almost enforcing a self sacrifice (Tau cross held in the left hand) of the ego. The free flowing life force from the Lust card is now wrapped by the its own kundalini energy. Note the upward movement of the serpent from Malkuth towards Daath. The crossed scythes and wands are the binding of time and the repression of the expressive spirit. The release from this pressure will be volatile, but is needed to transform into the next elevated version of the ‘Self.

Six of Wands” (Jupiter) – And here it is with Jupiter showing the victorious Leo side of courage and strength after arising from the “5 of Wands” conflict. There is a golden rose connecting the heart and soul of the Lion and the Owl (Fortune/Jupiter ruled card). Both are harmonious in their accomplishments. It is the merging of these solar and lunar energies which inspires the soul toward growth and achievements. By listening and (mindfully) taking action from our own Will can lead to great success. Within the “6 of Wands”, there is a beautiful message of purity and truth that is being conveyed.

“Seven of Wands” (Mars) – The result of when “Lust” and “Tower” (Mars) meet! The keyword is “Valour” in fearlessly taking action on any challenge. The Dragon (masculine/Tower) and the Tiger (feminine/Lust) are equally fighting for their own position. This is a battle in full force and having a strong strategy will be needed to succeed. The crossing of the six wands (as seen in the “6 of Wands”) are placed down and not being used. A centered larger lit torch is guiding the Dragon and Tiger forces upward toward the burning Tower (Kether). This battle is being led by their own WILLPOWER: courage → determination → strength → force. Victory will only come by being the strongest and overtaking the opposition. The “Seven of Wands” is asking how hard will you fight for something which is an integral part of the Self.
