Tabula Mundi Tarot: Pisces Decan (8-10 Cups) + The Moon June 22nd 2025

At the time of this writing, Mercury is in Sidereal Cancer 0’45″. explains why I’m hunkered down with low lights and surrounded by a few candles. A time of nurturing, calming the emotions and reconstituting my intuition. Just feeling and solely communicating with my soul.

THE MOON (PISCES): Meleen states “this is a passage through/from the gates of dreams and illusions”. The phrenology visual of the “back of the head” has taken an interesting meaning to me. The lunar moth (a form of transformation) has been released from the cocoon of it’s own deeper recesses and is flying to explore the outer realms of the “Self.” The door on the crescent moon (note the door is placed at the back part of moon) is the opening to the conscious world. As Jay pointed out “the pupil/portal” is the conscious Self looking within the subconscious. The waxing/waning phases of the moon influences the psyche of the Piscean soul. At times, brilliant and other times beyond comprehension. This is how Pisces explores and breaks down experiences. The Moon reveals the truth that is hidden within dreams and illusions. From out of chaos and darkness, the soul awakens into the light of day. The soul’s will is through guidance. The Moon illuminates dark aspects of the soul, but one needs to have a solid constitution when traversing into those aspects. If not, the path to enlightenment can be a downward spiral.

“8 of Cups” (Saturn)Saturn in Pisces. The result when the weight of the World is too much. This is a paralyzing experience for the “8 of Cups”. Activity has come to a standstill. The body of the ship (soul essence) has been neglected and left to deteriorate. Once a beautiful vessel mastering its course over the waters, this ship has lost its direction and inspiration. It has become an empty vessel wearing away its protective coating from the elements. Saturn has restricted the mutable flow of Pisces subconscious driven aspirations. A repression of the heart and soul. The brainwaves within the waters are tainted, but in the horizon there is a red line that shows potential ahead. Maintain the part of your Self that is connected to this potential and build upon that so the body of the ship can sail toward this.

For me, the 8-10 of Cups is revealing energies from the scarcity of the soul to discovering a lifeline leading to harmony from within and riding the waves while it lasts.

9 of Cups (Jupiter)” – Jupiter in Pisces. I see the serpent hand being the overall force of this harmonious scene. The eye is intuitive and “seeing” how the waters of the soul are ebbing/flowing. The hand is the conscious aspect dictating where this energy will eventually land or end. The “9 of Cups” is rejuvenating for the disillusioned Pisces from the “8 of Cups”. There is much to celebrate and this joy is moving the waves as water flows in/out of the gold rimmed bowls (mazars). “9” is of good health and fortune. Yesod of Water indicates a light heartedness of the soul. The Lemur (Priestess) and the crowned Owl represent the intuitive self and wisdom used in manifesting joy and abundance. Your wish has been granted and fulfilled. Enjoy the moment of prosperity and share any excess with others.

This leads into the 10 of Cups (Mars)Mars in Pisces .There is a prominent Mars influence on the forces of fire and water merging. For what I interpret, the eagle (Scorpio) and lion (Leo) have transformed into the protective Griffin/Chimera (thank you, Lilith!). The grandeur achievement appears to be there, but not entirely. There is a similar energy here with the 7 of Cups. But there is a misty steam flowing over the opium pods referring to the illusionary need of having great satisfaction with success, and yet not knowing if the success that was wanted is real, or did we mislead ourselves by dreaming it, and not being it?
