Tabula Mundi Tarot: Capricorn Decan (2-4 Disks) + The Devil August 17th 2025

“THE DEVIL” (SATURN) –  so much was discussed about this archetype and yet I discover other nuances of the Devil. For me, the strongest influence I find with the Devil is our relationship of the light and shadow play within us. The Devil is our own personal master and the Lovers are communicating from their own will and desire. This is their natural calling following their instincts and intellect. All inhibitions are released to experience what is to come. Remaining bound to old ways, the Devil will consume the heart and soul of the individual and will be lost within the sands of time.

“Two of Disks” (Jupiter) – I mentioned in the discussion “where is the change” within this card?  There isn’t a obvious transformation taking place, but seeing the action to create the change that has yet to manifest. I like what Jay said about “incremental movements”. The containment/structure of the hourglass and the small opening of where the sand is released is showing the pace of how fast/slow the wheels will move to create action. Patience is need while working towards a goal.

“Three of Disks” (Mars) – My focus with this is on the alchemical elements Sulphur (fire), Salt (earth), Mercury (air), the lightning bolt (Mars), and the DNA form with the bricks. The alchemical elements are the forces used as the “building blocks of creation”. I feel these are the bricks in their manifested form. The Salt is part of the elemental process in solidifying the bricks in their place. The more bricks placed on top of each other the stronger the form becomes. The lightning bolt doesn’t breakdown, but (re)ignites the inspiration to keep working towards completion. The DNA form is the experience from the Devil transformed into something of importance, but not fully complete. 

“Four of Disks” (Sun) – From the “Three of Disks” to the “Four of Disks”.. is this what we deisred to create, a fortress of Power? For me, this is another card where its decan (Sun in Capricorn) and its visual interpretation can be misleading.  The Green Man has transformed its connection to nature and developed it into the material realm. Wealth →Protection →Authority→Power. Not everyone is welcomed into this realm of material power.  One needs to understand the protective force of the fortress, which is depicted by the Sun (Capricorn) archetype over the  entry of the fortress.
