Cardinal Capricorn (Dec.21st – Jan.19th) “Ace of Disks” welcomes in the Winter Solstice as a time to plant the seeds of intention towards goals and opportunities. Being ruled by the planet of discipline, restrictions, and karmic actions, Saturn holds its foundational energy in the element of the earth. This stability creates the groundwork for Capricorn to initiate the actions needed in a controlled structured manner. They are seen as highly ambitious and practical in their ways. This is a sign that holds rulership in the Tenth house of career, fame, and reputation. These ambitions are of great importance to many Capricorns and based on the sign/planet placement (within the tenth house) can indicate ones perspective in achieving these goals.

During this first decan with Saturn in Capricorn, the “Unified Esoteric Tarot” indicates a time of “Discipline”. In this decan, Saturn’s influence in Capricorn is ALL about setting plans and creating a solid structure while achieving their desires. Taking responsibility IS key for any Capricorn who will work effortlessly to make sure their plans are in order so they can achieve success in all their endeavors.

The “Two of Pentacles“ reminds us of maintaining balance while juggling various forms of responsibilities. There are two choices within the Two of Pentacles. You can continue on the same path of contentment or take a different direction that will provide a new experience of personal growth.

The “Tarot of the Holy Light”⁠ is asking to be patient and create enough space while experiencing different circumstances. At this time, things are shifting but there is uncertainty toward its direction. This is a card of letting the energies naturally run its course. There will be ups and downs during this time. Just have trust in the chaos to order of things to guide the natural cyclical momentum of life.

The “Lumina Tarot“ features the Two of Pentacles creating harmony between the external and internal realms of ones Self. Follow how the energies are connecting (or not) with each other. If something feels out of balance take a moment to pause and investigate what is causing this. This could be a sign to change the direction of what is currently taking place. Give your Self the space needed to create the best form of harmony from within and to without.
